Lauren Ash-Morgan is Founding Co-Artistic Director of the upcoming theatre company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director for Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) between 2014 and 2019. She has been an actor and board member for SSC since 2011. Also, she was the producer Costume/set designer, composer/musician as well as a text coach for SSC while she served as the Artistic Director of SSC. Although she usually led from within the actors' ensemble, during her last year she was the first director (and lighting designer) with the company's King Lear.
